Action with Feeding HK
Our charity foundation provides a local food distribution program to help those in need. We work closely with Feeding HK to collect surplus food & bread from our partners and redistribute it to those in need. The main types of goods distributed include Indonesian sweet potatoes, daily necessities purchased through donations, noodles, rice, cooking oil and other daily necessities.
Hong Kong Food Support to Cardboard collectors
To support households facing food shortages, Extrans Foundation's food distribution program purchases food for people who are in desperate need, especially on a weekly basis.
Through this program, we buy food from wholesalers and deliver it to YWMA Tuen Mun every week. The main types of goods distributed include daily necessities such as Scallop Noodles, Pure Olive Oil, and Dace with black bean sauce.

Green heart Project - Bac Kan, Vietnam
1. Winter Melon Initiative
The Green Heart Project, temporarily named to symbolize the connection of green values within the community, aims to assist households in Bac Kan, Vietnam in establishing sustainable agricultural production.
Previously, one of their primary sources of income was rice farming. Extrans Foundation donates seeds and fertilizer to support the cultivation of winter melons, which helps increase the income of the farmers and improve their quality of life.

2. Community Support and Solar Light
With the purpose of supporting low-income families in Bac Kan village, the goal of Extrans Foundation is to improve the lives of the villagers by creating a safer and more secure environment.
The project provides funding for the purchase and installation of solar-powered street lights in the rural area of Ban Tang Village.
Building School Kitchen & Toilet - Dien Bien, Vietnam(2023)
In Dien Bien, Vietnam, school sites hold great humanitarian significance for the locality. Currently, there is a kitchen for children, but it is only a temporary structure with a wooden frame, which is lacks sufficient space.
Through the funding support and various sponsorships, we strive to build a proper kitchen. Further, by collaborating with local authorities, we propose to provide solar light bulbs to facilitate safer travel for residents and ensure the safety of children on their way to school.
Livestock Donation - Pig Raising, Dien Bien(2023)
Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." The "Your Fish - Your Life" project aims to create the initial conditions for people to experience, learn, and improve their capacity in effective livestock production.
We have designed various livestock support activities to enhance the livelihoods of poor people in Vietnam's mountainous area, specifically in Dien Bien. At the same time, we provide funding to farmers, enabling them to purchase livestock, such as breeding pigs, and foster the development of a local black pig breeding community.

Integrated Livestock and Coffee Farming Support Program for Vulnerable Households
To promote sustainable livelihoods and reduce poverty, local authorities have selected 15 vulnerable households to join a hybrid livelihood support model that combines coffee cultivation with indigenous pig raising.
Beneficiary households were chosen through a transparent process based on the following criteria: (i) being poor or near-poor households facing economic hardship; (ii) demonstrating a strong commitment to improving their livelihoods and escaping poverty; (iii) having suitable land available for coffee cultivation; and (iv) having already received coffee seedlings and technical training from local authorities.
Under this hybrid support model, the local government will provide coffee seedlings together with technical assistance on coffee cultivation, livestock management, and disease prevention. The Exstran Foundation is requested to support fertilizer for coffee production and the provision of piglets.
Support is organized at the household level. All inputs are allocated, monitored, and evaluated by household. Each participating household is responsible for managing the supported assets, applying the recommended farming practices, and reporting on their use and outcomes.
This approach is expected to strengthen accountability, improve the effectiveness of the support, increase household income, enhance climate-resilient agricultural production, and create sustainable pathways out of poverty.
Supporting the Orphanage and Sisters in Kon Tum(2026)
In the remote mountainous district of Kon Tum, near the Laos border, the Sisters of the Miraculous Medal Congregation operate a network of orphanages that care for some of the most vulnerable children in Vietnam’s Central Highlands.
Founded and run by the Sisters, the orphanage currently consists of seven facilities. Each home welcomes anywhere from a few dozen to more than 200 children — orphans, abandoned children, those living with disabilities, and those from extremely difficult family situations. The children come from various ethnic groups, including Bana, Jrai, Xê Đăng, Rơ Ngao, H’lan, Xơ Đăng, Yeh, and Jơ Lơng, and range in age from newborns to 19 years old.
At the orphanage, the Sisters provide the children with accommodation, daily meals, education at local public schools, faith formation, and guidance for personal growth. Because the facilities are located in a remote and under-resourced area, external support is very limited. The main source of income comes from the Sisters’ own hard work: growing rice, cassava, and corn; raising cattle, pigs, and chickens; maintaining fish ponds; and cultivating vegetables. Outside school hours, the older children also help with farming, animal care, and household chores. These sources of livelihood are unstable, and the Sisters rely greatly on God’s providence through the generosity of those He sends to them.
Healthcare is especially limited in this isolated region. Currently, only one doctor visits once a month, while one Sister serves as a nurse, offering basic check-ups and distributing medicine. When medical supplies run out, the Sisters reach out for support so they can continue caring for both the children and the surrounding ethnic communities.
This work has been part of the Emmanuel Community’s compassion mission for over three years. Inspired by the words of the prophet Elijah — “The jar of flour shall not be spent, and the jug of oil shall not be empty” (1 Kings 17:10–16) — we hope that through our efforts the medicine cabinet in Kon Tum will never run dry, and that this ministry of care will continue to bring hope and practical support to those most in need.
